Control System, which is a fingerprint reader that functions as a lock
on a workstation or a network that can only be accessed by authorized
persons. Creative Vision Electronics Inc. has signed
an agreement with the utility giant, American
Electric Power Service Corporation, to provide a biometric
/ smart card logon control security solution.
Our
first product line includes a field-proven Fingerprint Identification
and Contact/Contactless Mifare or Smart Card Access Control & Time
Attendance System for business, as well as the Hand Vascular Pattern
Recognition and Facial-Scan products.
Our second product line consists of Standalone Fingerprint Door Locks,
which offer a built-in audit trail feature for meeting the Health Insurance
Portability and accountability Act (HIPPA) compliance. HIPAA requires
that only authorized personnel should be able to access the patients'
medical records and that you must be able to prove compliance. Our audit
trail software solutions may also help small-medium businesses protect
their customer’s information, thus complying with the Financial
Modernization Act of 1999, also known as the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act,
or GLB Act, which includes provisions to protect consumers’ personal
